Sometimes Auctions Suck

I’ve been trying to purchase a newer laptop online without paying through the nose. So I’m selling two computers and my Apple Newton to finance it. So, if you want a nice Mac clone or a p90 laptop…or a nice Newton check out my eBay auctions. The p90 is a decent laptop, but it isn’t fast enough to do the work I need a laptop to do. The PowerComputing system is nice, and could run OSX with a G3 upgrade, but I don’t have that kind of time to devote to a system now. I just want a nice Powerbook 3400c or a cheap iBook or even cheaper Kanga. The Kanga is the only G3 unable to run OSX. The speed increase is about 2x better than the 603-based 3400 and as long as it runs OS9 faster and better than what I’ve been using, I really don’t care about OSX. I just need something to use on the couch or at a clients office…or even my new office. So after this auction, I will only have two systems in the house. An Apple 6100 and Madcow, my Win2K system. I decided that I do need a fulltime Win2K system/server here, mainly to act as a SHOUTcast server, MP3 ripper and image scanner.
I finally got to try out the BloggerPro system, and I do like the new features, titles, pinging weblogs.com, and the ability to do a future draft. It seems to run smooth. I’m going to work on some of the CSS layout issues with this site and just try to clean things up.
