Yep.
Ok, so this is the new design. The archives still show the old design, but that should change this weekend. I have a couple of changes in addition to the design and a medium sized announcement later.

Wow! Stunning–I love the picture on the top. It looks very polished and cohesive.
With all the recent blog redesigns, I’m starting to feel left behind. I don’t think I have the energy to rework everything, but I’m seriously considering adding a third color to my orange/grey scheme.

Beth, Thanks for the complements on the photo! :) I took that on my trip to Hilton Head, SC earlier this year. I had my camera and saw this stunning site, and my light setting were good. The photo is direct from the camera, no photoshop editing at all. It was a lucky shot. The camera is a Canon a40.

I have a *very* similar layout sitting my desktop that I can’t use now :)

Very nice, Mike.
I especially like the color choices and the tightened up sidebar. I also agree with the fixed width, that is a direction I’ve been drifting myself. For text heavy sites like a weblog I think controlling the line lengths is more important than using every inch of screen available, I have little patience for lines of text that span a thousand pixels of screen, they make my eyes hurt.
The real list for the sidebar links is also a nice touch and something I really should get around to doing myself… why not go the extra step and make the blogroll an inline list?
Also, you may want to look into a macro for escaping the ampersands in entries, this seems to be the only thing with the exception of a couple of missing meta tag closers preventing validation. I’m way too lazy to remember to do it manually, and use a modified version of Brad Choates suggestion found at http://www.bradchoate.com/askbrad/001366.php

Sorry Al.:) I’d been working on some real fancy design, but for a weblog that design didn’t work as expected. This is about the fourth design I’ve been testing. Then I started looking over at the HBO website and this design is mainly inspired by them.
The blogroll is a test, It’s a little different for me. I don’t know if I’ll keep it “real”.
I have a couple of changes left to make, but with my main machine down, they’ll have to wait. Homesite under Windows 2000 has saved my butt this week.
