5 Years
With a few minutes to spare and not having my iPod. with it’s prepared post, at my side. I’m gonna say thanks for visiting this little weblog over the past 5 years. It feels a little odd seeing how this whole weblogthingie has taken off and now it’s kinda in the public knowledge…where as when I started, most people treated a blog like it was somehow a diary and kinda mocked. But I feel pretty cool that I’m still going. So anyways, thanks for everything, here’s for another year!

Holy smokes!
Five years? Isn’t like 73 in *people* years? Congratulations and here’s to the next five.

Thanks!
Honestly, I never thought it was a big deal until BlogNashville…when Henry Copeland asked a room full of people to raise their hands about how long they had been doing this and there were only 5 of us who had a blog starting in 2000 and earlier….actually 2 from 2000 and the other three were much older.
Locally, I believe I’ve had one the longest…(but that fact never gets mentioned in the newspaper articles or the tv stories…)_although Larry Burton might have had one longer as his old pseudonym, Justin Thyme.

Congrats, indeed! You’re my “Blog Elder” by one month. Ah, the summer of 2000 was a vintage year for blogs.
