I’ve been around dealers (unintentionally) and this is what they all spill. Funny, if all the people who “don’t sell to kids” actually did that, what kid would get a chance to dabble in drug use?
I’m moderate about drug use, even though I’ve never even had a puff of a joint or anything else. But if you’re having to spin some bullshit because of guilt, then maybe you should stop dealing. Work is hard, it takes a while to get to a point to where you’re making nice money. Some people don’t want to do that and want to have the cash to do whatever they want. So they turn to dealing.

Guess what? The cops have been in this business longer than you. They know the shit that you think you’re being clever about. Wanna sell the shit? Well don’t try to act like you’re innocent.
